I have some exciting news for you! Earlier this week, Peter Range, the Director of the Office for Life and Justice at the Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Toledo took time out of his busy schedule to chat with me about the proposed Toledo city ordinance which would make sidewalk advocacy in Toledo nearly impossible.
During our conversation, Peter explained the history behind the ordinance and talked about why sidewalk advocacy is a critical component in empowering women for life. You can listen to Peter and I’s conversation on Ohio Right to Life’s latest episode of The Pro-Life Ohio Podcast.

Because of the compassionate work of sidewalk advocates like Peter, women have improved access to local resources and the tools they need to choose life. If this city ordinance is passed, it will impose an 8-foot buffer zone around any abortion facility in Toledo and push every abortion minded woman even further away from advocates who are ready to eliminate her crisis, not her child.
Pro-abortion activists have already sent hundreds of emails to the Toledo City Council, pressuring them to support this radical anti-life ordinance. Only by compassionate and immediate action can we stop this dangerous ordinance and save lives. Please email the Toledo City Council and respectfully urge them to vote “no.”

Friend, I’ve been on the sidewalk many times myself and seen firsthand how life or death sidewalk advocacy is for babies in danger and women in crisis.
Please help us save lives.
