COLUMBUS, Ohio- Today, Ohio Right to Life announced that Allie Frazier, Director of Communications at Ohio Right to Life, has accepted the position of Executive Director at Right to Life of Northeast Ohio. Frazier, who spearheaded Ohio Right to Life’s communications and messaging, will mark her last day with Ohio Right to Life on Friday, October 29. Frazier has been Ohio Right to Life’s Director of Communications since 2019.
"It has been an honor to advocate for Ohio’s most vulnerable alongside the team at Ohio Right to Life," said Allie Frazier. “I feel incredibly blessed to have been a part of the good this organization has accomplished. There are a myriad of different ways a person can spend their life; I am so thankful that I have had the opportunity to spend the last 2 and a half years of mine fighting full-time to protect innocent babies here in Columbus. I will continue that same fight for the most vulnerable in Akron as Executive Director of Right to Life of Northeast Ohio. Pro-Life Ohio is committed to ensuring every innocent human’s right to life, and I know that together, we will see an end to abortion in our state.”
Under Frazier’s leadership, Ohio Right to Life successfully communicated Pro-Life Ohio’s message of hope through critical moments in the pro-life movement’s fight against abortion such as the nomination of Amy Coney Barrett, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the 2020 election. With a focus on the strategic use of social media, Frazier expanded Ohio Right Life’s online presence with encouraging and engaging content that put the pro-life movement’s heart for the vulnerable front and center. Frazier also brought back ORTL’s The Pro-Life Ohio Podcast, both hosting and producing the show which interviewed pro-life leaders from across the country.
“It has been a very difficult process to find a new director that has not only the technical and organizational skills needed for the job, but also the knowledge and experience of our mission to be able to jump right into our life saving work,” said Denise Leipold, current Executive Director of Right to Life of Northeast Ohio. “Allie brings all of this to the table and we are excited to have her become part of our team.”
Before working as the Director of Communications for Ohio Right to Life, Frazier was a Students for Life Wilberforce Fellow and served on Pregnancy Decision Health Center’s Walk for Life Planning Committee. Frazier also founded Columbus State Students for Life, an official campus activism group which Students for Life of America named their 2018 Industry Impact Pillar Award Winner for their sidewalk advocacy outside of Planned Parenthood.
"Allie’s impact on Ohio’s pro-life movement will be felt for years to come," said Mike Gonidakis, president of Ohio Right to Life. "Her energy and passion to empower women and save babies shines through in everything she does. Ohio Right to Life is excited to see the good she will accomplish at the helm of Right to Life of Northeast Ohio.”
Ohio Right to Life wishes Allie all the best as she continues to use her gift for advocacy and love for life to support women and save lives in Akron, Ohio.
Founded in 1967, Ohio Right to Life, with more than 40 chapters and local affiliates, is Ohio's oldest and largest grassroots pro-life organization. Recognized as the flagship of the pro-life movement in Ohio, ORTL works through legislation and education to promote and defend innocent human life from conception to natural death.
